About Dr.
Dr. John G. F. Bell is a geologist and professor at Ohio State University. He received his Ph.D. in geology from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Bell has published numerous papers on the geology of the Ohio River Valley and has taught courses on geology and evolution. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Bell is known for his work on the geological record of life on Earth and has been a vocal advocate for the teaching of evolution in public schools. He is also an accomplished musician and has released several albums of folk music.
