Dr. Joseph Needham

Dr. Joseph Needham was a British sinologist and historian. He is best known for his work on Chinese history and culture. Needham was born in 1898 in Cambridge, England, and studied at Cambridge University. He went on to become a professor of Chinese history at Cambridge and wrote several books on the subject. Needham was also a fellow of the Royal Society and was awarded several honors for his work. He died in 1995.
