Dr. Leanne Calvert

Dr. Leanne Calvert is a historian and author who specializes in the history of sexuality and family in Ireland. She has written extensively on the subject and has published several books, including Pious and Promiscuous: Life, Love and Family in Presbyterian Ulster. Calvert is a graduate of the University of Ulster and has a Ph.D. in Irish history from the University of Dublin. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Ulster and has taught courses on Irish history and sexuality. Calvert is a popular speaker and has given talks at conferences and events around the world.
