Dr. Mariana Figueiredo

Dr. Mariana Figueiredo is a neuroscientist and researcher who has made significant contributions to the field of neuroscience. She is currently a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Figueiredo's research focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying behavior, including aggression and social behavior. She has published numerous papers on these topics and has received several awards for her research. Figueiredo is also a strong advocate for increasing diversity in STEM fields and has worked to promote women's participation in science. She has a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego.
