Dr. Peter Higgs is a theoretical physicist who made groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of particle physics. He is best known for his work on the Higgs mechanism, which explains how particles acquire mass. Higgs was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013 for his discovery.
