Dr. Phlox is a Romulan-Betazoid hybrid who served as the chief medical officer of the USS Enterprise under Captain Jonathan Archer in the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise. He is known for his unique physiology, which includes Betazoid telepathic abilities and Vulcan-like logic. His character explores themes of identity, prejudice, and cultural differences.
