Dr. Walter Massey

Raised in the segregated South, Dr. Massey became one of only a handful of Black physicists in the 1960s. He held leadership roles at laboratories, universities, and briefly Bank of America during the 2008 financial crisis. Dr. Massey is a professor and has been involved in civil rights and scientific research. He has also spoken about the impact of Covid-19 on trust in the scientific community.
