Chinese nobleman and politician
Duke Xian of Qi was a Chinese nobleman and politician who served as the duke of Qi during the Eastern Zhou period. He was known for his wisdom and his ability to navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries between the various states of China. Duke Xian was also known for his literary and artistic pursuits, and was a patron of the arts. He was a contemporary of Sun Tzu and is mentioned in Sun Tzu's book “The Art of War”.
