E. N. A. Balasingham

E. N. A. Balasingham was a Sri Lankan politician and activist who was a key figure in the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). He was born in 1941 in Sri Lanka and was a prominent leader in the Tamil nationalist movement. Balasingham was a strong advocate for Tamil rights and self-determination, and he played a key role in the LTTE's fight for independence in Sri Lanka. He was also a vocal critic of the Sri Lankan government's treatment of the Tamil minority. Balasingham died in 2006 after being shot by the Sri Lankan military.
