Edwidge Danticat

Edwidge Danticat is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and essayist. She was born in Haiti and immigrated to the United States as a child. Danticat has written several novels and short story collections, including Breath, Eyes, Memory and Krik? Krak! She has also written several essay collections, including We're All in the Same Boat and An American Marriage. Danticat has received numerous awards for her writing, including the National Book Award and the MacArthur Fellowship.
