Eleanor of Aquitaine was a queen of France and England in the 12th century. She was born in 1122 and married Louis VII of France, with whom she had several children. However, she eventually left France and married Henry Plantagenet, with whom she had more children and became the queen of England. Eleanor was known for her intelligence, beauty, and strong will, and was a powerful figure in medieval politics. She was also a patron of the arts and architecture, and her court was renowned for its culture and learning. Eleanor died in 1204, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most influential women of the Middle Ages.
