Eleanor of Castile

Eleanor of Castile was the queen consort of King Edward I of England. She was a member of the Castilian royal family and was known for her intelligence, beauty, and strong will. Eleanor was a patron of the arts and architecture, and her influence can still be seen in many of the buildings and monuments that were constructed during her lifetime.
