Journalist and writer
Eliezer Yehuda was a Jewish journalist and writer who was born in 1858 in Odessa, Russia. He is best known for his work as a correspondent for the New York Times, and for his efforts to promote Hebrew language and literature. Yehuda was a prominent figure in the Jewish community in Palestine, and was known for his advocacy of Jewish settlement in the region. He died in 1928.
