Elif Shafak

Elif Shafak is a Turkish-German novelist, essayist, and journalist. She was born in Istanbul, Turkey, and moved to Germany with her family at a young age. Shafak has written several bestselling novels, including The Architect's Apprentice and The Forty Rules of Love. She has also been a vocal advocate for women's rights and social justice.
