Elisabeth Kaiser is a German politician and member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). She has been a Bundestagsabgeordnete (Member of the German Parliament) since 2013 and has served as the Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Ostdeutschland (Federal Government Commissioner for East Germany) since 2018. Kaiser has a background in politics and has worked on several initiatives to promote economic development in East Germany. She is also an active researcher and has published several papers on the topic of East German history and politics. Kaiser is based in Berlin, Germany.
