Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi

Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi is a Hungarian-American documentary filmmaker and photographer. She is best known for her work on the documentary films "Meru" and "Free Solo", which won several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Vasarhelyi is also a photographer and has published several books of her work. She is married to Jimmy Chin and they have two children. Vasarhelyi is a prominent figure in the outdoor and adventure sports communities.
