Elizabeth I of England

Elizabeth I was the Queen of England and Ireland from 1558 until her death in 1603. She was the daughter of King Henry VIII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn. Elizabeth I was a skilled politician and leader who ruled England during a golden age of culture and exploration. She was known as the 'Virgin Queen' and was revered for her intelligence, wit, and strong will. Elizabeth I died in 1603 at the age of 69.
