Ernesto Alvarado

Ernesto Alvarado is a Mexican-born, Southern California-based native plant and seed teacher and student. He is currently the Native Plant Nursery Assistant at the Riverside Corona Resource Conservation District where he specializes in seed and native plants for gardening and greater connection to the world around him. Ernesto has a deep passion for native plants and has spent years studying and teaching about their importance in our ecosystem. He is known for his expertise in seed propagation and has developed several new species of native plants. Ernesto is also a skilled gardener and has created beautiful and sustainable gardens in his community. He is based in Riverside, California.
