Ethel Kennedy is an American civil rights activist who has been a prominent figure in the movement for over 60 years. She is the wife of Robert F. Kennedy, the former Attorney General and Senator from New York. Ethel Kennedy has been involved in numerous civil rights organizations, including the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She has also been a vocal advocate for women's rights and has worked to promote social justice throughout her career. Ethel Kennedy passed away in 2021 at the age of 92.
