Austrian School economist
Friedrich August Hayek was an Austrian-British economist and philosopher who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1974. He is best known for his work on individualism, spontaneous order, and the dangers of government control. Hayek was a prominent figure in the development of the Austrian School of economics and was a key influence on the development of modern libertarian thought.
