Father Gabriele Amorth

Father Gabriele Amorth was a Jesuit priest and the former Chief Exorcist of the Vatican from 1986 to 2016. He was a renowned expert on exorcisms and wrote several books on the subject. Amorth was born in 1934 in Rome, Italy, and studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He was ordained as a priest in 1961 and served in various roles within the Catholic Church before being appointed as the Chief Exorcist. During his tenure, he performed thousands of exorcisms and became a prominent figure in the Catholic Church. Amorth passed away in 2016 at the age of 87.
