Federick von Hayek

Federick von Hayek was a Austrian-British economist and philosopher. He is best known for his work on individualism, liberalism, and the critique of socialism. Hayek was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1974 and was a prominent figure in the Mont Pelerin Society. He wrote several influential books, including "The Road to Serfdom" and "The Fatal Conceit: The Errors of Socialism".
