Chinese philosopher and historian
Feng Youlan (1879-1950) was a Chinese philosopher, historian, and educator. He was a prominent figure in Chinese intellectual circles and was known for his contributions to the development of Confucianism and Neo-Confucianism. Feng Youlan was a prolific writer and published numerous works on philosophy, history, and education. He was also a skilled diplomat and served as a delegate to the International Conference on Intellectual Cooperation in 1925. Feng Youlan was born in the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, and died in the city of Beijing.
