About Firas
Firas Maksad is a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has worked as a managing director at the Eurasia Group and has been a fellow at the Brookings Institution. Maksad has written several books on Middle East politics and has been a frequent commentator on global affairs.
