Fr. Joseph de Chantal

Fr. Joseph de Chantal was a Carmelite nun and mystic who lived in the 17th century. Born in 1597 in France, de Chantal was educated at the University of Paris and later joined the Carmelite order. She became known for her spiritual writings and her devotion to the Eucharist. De Chantal died in 1650 at the age of 53.
