About Fr.
Fr. Louis de Montfort was a Catholic priest and founder of the Society of Saint Pius X. He was born in 1818 in France and studied at the seminary in Paris. He became a priest in 1840 and was known for his work in promoting devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He wrote several books on Catholic spirituality and was a popular speaker on the topic. He died in 1890.
