Saint and founder of the Oblates of Mary
Frances of Rome was a 15th-century Italian saint and founder of the Oblates of Mary. She was born in 1387 and spent most of her life in Rome, where she became a prominent figure in the Catholic Church. Frances was known for her piety, kindness, and generosity, and was recognized by the Church for her exceptional devotion to God. She died in 1440 and was canonized as a saint in 1608. The Oblates of Mary, a Catholic order she founded, continue to this day, and Frances is still revered as a model of spiritual leadership and service.
