Francesco Paolo Cossiga

Francesco Paolo Cossiga was an Italian politician and diplomat. He was born on March 25, 1921, in Turin, Italy. Cossiga graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in law. He began his career in politics as a member of the Italian Democratic Socialist Party. Cossiga served as the President of Italy from 1985 to 1992. He is known for his efforts to promote European integration and his work on international relations.
