Francisco Pizarro was a Spanish conquistador who led the expedition that conquered the Inca Empire in the 16th century. He was born in Trujillo, Spain in 1478 and died in Lima, Peru in 1541. Pizarro was known for his bravery and cunning, and his conquest of the Incas made him a legendary figure in Spanish history.
