Frank Morris
Former inmate and escape artist
Frank Morris was a former inmate at Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. He is best known for his role in the infamous 1962 escape from the prison. Morris was a skilled craftsman and used his skills to help plan and execute the escape. He was never recaptured and his fate remains a mystery. Morris was born in 1926 in San Francisco, California, and died in 1995 in a psychiatric hospital.
