Frank Pöggeler

Frank Pöggeler is a German labour leader and trade unionist who has been serving as the General Secretary of ver.di, the German Confederation of Trade Unions, since 2019. He has been a prominent figure in German trade unionism for over 20 years and has played a key role in shaping the union's policies and strategies. Pöggeler has been a strong advocate for workers' rights and has been a vocal critic of neoliberal economic policies. He has also been a key figure in the German labour movement, having served as the president of the German Trade Union Federation and as a member of the Bundestag.
