Frederick Mitchell-Hedges

Frederick Mitchell-Hedges was a British explorer and archaeologist who is best known for his discovery of the Crystal Skull of Chichen Itza. He was born in 1879 and died in 1943. Mitchell-Hedges was a prolific writer and published several books on his adventures and discoveries. He was also a skilled artist and drew many of the illustrations in his books.
