The French King was the ruler of France from 1515 to 1547. He was a member of the Valois dynasty and was known for his diplomatic skills and his role in the Italian Wars. The French King was also a patron of the arts and architecture, and his court was renowned for its lavish entertainment and culture. He died in 1547 and was succeeded by his son, Francis II.
