Gabriel Possenti was an Italian Catholic priest and saint. He was born in 1781 in San Giusto, Italy and died in 1852. Possenti was known for his piety and his work as a priest. He was canonized as a saint in 1950. Possenti is the patron saint of journalists and journalists' guilds.
