Gabriele d'Annunzio

Gabriele d'Annunzio was an Italian poet, novelist, and politician. He is considered one of the greatest poets of the Italian language and was a leading figure in the Italian literary movement of the early 20th century. D'Annunzio was also a politician and served as the mayor of Fiume during the Italian occupation. He is known for his charismatic personality and his role in the Italian Fascist movement.
