Gary Merrill

Gary Merrill was an American actor who was married to Bette Davis from 1949 until their divorce in 1959. Merrill was a talented actor who appeared in a number of films and television shows, including the popular sitcom 'The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis'. He was also a close friend and confidant of Davis, and was often seen accompanying her to public events.
