Gary Pinkerton

Gary Pinkerton is a historian and author with a focus on Texas history. He has written several books on the subject and has been featured in various media outlets. Gary is a native Texan and has a deep passion for preserving the state's rich history. He is also a member of the Alliance for Texas History, a new organization focused on preserving and promoting Texas history. In his free time, Gary enjoys reading and trying new restaurants. He is currently working on his next book project, which explores the history of Trammell's Trace.
