General William Booth

General William Booth was a British evangelist and founder of the Salvation Army. He was born in 1829 and died in 1912. He is best known for his work in evangelism and his development of the Salvation Army's mission and values. General Booth was a prolific writer and published numerous books on theology and evangelism. He is still widely recognized today as a key figure in the history of the Salvation Army.
