Georges Clemenceau was a French politician and statesman who served as Prime Minister of France during World War I. He was a key figure in the Allied victory and played a significant role in shaping the post-war settlement. Clemenceau was born in Paris in 1841 and died in Paris in 1929. He was known for his strong leadership and diplomatic skills, and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1919.
