Georges Sand

Georges Sand was a French novelist, playwright, and feminist, born in 1804 in Paris, France. She is best known for her novels 'Indiana' and 'Lélia', which were published under a pseudonym due to societal norms against female authors at the time. Sand was a prominent figure in the French literary world and was known for her advocacy of women's rights and education. She was also a talented artist and musician, and was a close friend of the French writer and historian Victor Hugo.
