Georgia O'Keeffe

Georgia O'Keeffe was an American artist known for her bold and innovative paintings of enlarged flowers, landscapes, and abstract compositions. Born on November 15, 1887, in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, O'Keeffe was a leading figure in the American Modernist movement. She was married to Alfred Stieglitz, a photographer and art dealer, and was a prominent figure in the New York art scene. O'Keeffe's work is now considered some of the most iconic and influential in American art history.
