Georgia Tann

Georgia Tann was a notorious American adoption broker and coroner who operated in Memphis, Tennessee, during the 1920s and 1930s. She is known for her involvement in the illegal adoption of children, often using coercion and deception to separate them from their families. Tann's actions led to the deaths of numerous children, and she was eventually arrested and convicted of murder. She died in prison in 1952.
