Former Prime Minister of Greece
Georgios Karamanlis was a Greek politician who served as the Prime Minister of Greece from 2004 to 2009. He was a member of the New Democracy party and is known for his efforts to implement economic reforms and modernize the Greek government. Karamanlis was born in 1951 in Athens, Greece, and studied law at the University of Athens. He has been involved in politics since the 1970s and has held various positions, including Minister of Finance and Minister of National Defense. He is also a professor of law at the University of Athens.
