Gerry Mulligan

Gerry Mulligan was an American jazz saxophonist, flautist, and arranger. Born on April 10, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York, he began playing the saxophone at an early age. Mulligan worked with various jazz musicians, including Miles Davis and John Lewis. He is best known for his work as a session musician and arranger, particularly on the album 'Birth of the Cool'.
