Ghassan Khatib is a Palestinian-American academic and activist. He was born in 1970 in Jerusalem. Khatib has worked as a professor of political science at Birzeit University in the West Bank. He has written extensively on Palestinian rights and has been a vocal critic of Israeli occupation. Khatib has also been involved in various charitable initiatives, including working with UNICEF.
