Gilbert Cruz

Gilbert Cruz is an American book reviewer and editor. He is the editor of the New York Times Book Review's fiction section. Cruz has written for various publications, including The New York Times, The Paris Review, and The Guardian. He has also taught creative writing at several universities. Cruz is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has an MFA from the University of Houston. He lives in New York City.
