Gisbertus Voetius

Gisbertus Voetius was a Dutch theologian and Reformed pastor. He was a prominent figure in the Dutch Reformed Church and served as the professor of theology at the University of Utrecht. Voetius was known for his conservative views on theology and his opposition to the Arminian movement. He was also a prolific writer and published several influential works on theology and church governance. Voetius died in 1676.
