research associate at the Interdisciplinary Group for Psychoactive Studies
Glauber Assis is a research associate at the Interdisciplinary Group for Psychoactive Studies. He is also the director of the Psychedelic Parenthood community, Vital instructor, and leader of Jornadas de Kura, a plant medicine center in Brazil. Glauber was born in Brazil and grew up in the shadows of colonialism. He has had early experiences with ayahuasca and the Santo Daime church, which decolonized his mind and changed his relationship with himself and his family. Eventually, he started his own church: Céu da Divina Estrela. He believes that to truly know ourselves, we need to experience other cultures.
