About Grand-Duc

Grand-Duc Henri is the former Grand Duke of Luxembourg. He was born on October 16, 1955, in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. He studied economics and business administration at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. He has been the Grand Duke of Luxembourg since 2000, succeeding his father, Grand Duke Jean. He is married to Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and has two children. He is known for his efforts to modernize the Luxembourgish economy and promote European integration.
