Guy de Bres was a minister of the Reformed churches in French-speaking churches in the southern Netherlands. He is best known for writing the Belgic Confession, one of the Three Forms of Unity. De Bres was born in 1522 and died in 1567. He was a prominent figure in the Reformed churches and played a key role in shaping the theology of the movement. De Bres was also a skilled preacher and was known for his pastoral care. He is remembered as a champion of the Reformed faith and a defender of the church.
